About Wyndham Grand Manama
Iconic luxury meets modern hospitality
Wyndham Grand Manama, a luxurious 5-star hotel, was built to provide the ultimate experience in sophistication and comfort. It is located in the heart of Bahrain’s capital city and has the most iconic building in Manama. The hotel is designed with the needs of the modern traveler in mind and welcomes everyone, from families to business travelers. Wyndham Grand Manama delivers an unforgettable experience for all of its guests. The hotel’s digital presence needed to reflect its ICONIC standards.
What we had in mind
Echoing the Grandeur
ORIGIN understood the essence of Wyndham Grand Manama. Grandiosity is not only about amenities, but also about the experience; the emotional connection that starts building up from the moment they lay eyes on the hotel’s iconic architecture. Wyndham Grand Manama is not just a hotel, it is an experience.
We wanted people to visit Bahrain to live this experience. Our goals were clear: Uplifting the presence and aesthetic of Wyndham Grand Manama on social media by representing the hotel as a holistic experience and engaging with the audience at a whole new level.
Capturing the Experience
Our first thought was to think of the audience as more than guests. They are human beings first and foremost. What excites people more than traveling and living a new experience?
Some are looking for a great time, memorable moments, adventure, while others want to escape from reality, relax, dine well, get pampered. Every guest is different, in who they are and what they want, yet everyone shares the story of experiencing Wyndham.
How we made it happen
Intriguing the senses
Our strategy involved engaging the five senses to evoke the same experiences guests encounter at the hotel. We created descriptive, sensory-rich language that narrated the stories guests would live during their stay.
It was essential for Wyndham's digital presence to authentically reflect its real-life experience through visuals and content. To bring our vision for Wyndham's digital presence to life, we aimed to give the brand its distinct persona—a face and a voice.
Choice of colors
As for the color palette, we opted for placid blue and chocolate brown for the colors:
Visual strategy
The look and feel of the social pages needed to emulate the actual elegance and sophistication of the hotel. The design of every post was to be proudly branded as Wyndham, with the hotel’s logo clearly visible.
We also created a new iconography that is simple and elegant for Instagram highlights and used landscape wide-angle views to be displayed on the Facebook cover.
The social content
We captivated travelers by appealing to their senses and showcasing diverse experiences, from local attractions to vibrant activities.
Our imagery highlighted the human element, portraying guests immersed in various activities, inviting followers to envision themselves enjoying similar moments at Wyndham.
The brand's voice exuded the warmth and exceptional service synonymous with Wyndham Grand, emphasizing genuine human connections and the authentic experiences awaiting our guests.
The campaigns
We developed digital campaigns for Wyndham Grand Manama not only to attract new audiences and engage with existing ones but also to bring the Wyndham experience into the digital realm. Here is a glance at the campaigns of 2022.
A story of you
This campaign aimed to showcase the unique experiences that travelers have while visiting Wyndham Grand Manama in Bahrain. It highlighted the country's cultural heritage, cuisine, natural beauty, and more, to create an emotional connection with the audience and inspire them to visit and create their own unique story.
A story of you: chapters
“Chapters” is a sequel to the first campaign. We followed the story of the hotel’s guests from the beginning of their day while sipping the coffee, and up until the end of their day before going to sleep in their luxurious rooms. The journey starts at 6:30 am and covers all the activities throughout the day until 11:00 pm. On every post, a clock can be seen showing the time of the activity that a guest might be doing at that time.
When in Bahrain
December is an exciting and eventful month in Bahrain, it’s when we celebrate Bahrain National Day, Christmas and New Year. This campaign, launched in December 2022, aimed to showcase Wyndham's luxury amenities and highlight local cultural events during this month, encouraging guests to celebrate and explore the culture. We also created a physical wheel placed at the hotel that offered guests the opportunity to win prizes with every spin, adding an exciting element to the holiday season experience.
